Once a month, we organise outings for a change of scenery and new experiences. It’s a great way to build friendships and engage in a positive community environment.

Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC) & Voluntary Out Of Home Care (VOHC)

Good Care Ability offers Voluntary Out of Home Care (VOHC) and Specialised Substitute Resident Care (SSRC) to provide flexible, supportive solutions for families and carers.

Our VOHC services are designed for children and young people with disabilities who need care outside the family home, whether for overnight stays, school holiday support, or transportation. This respite care helps both participants and their caregivers recharge, offering a break from day-to-day responsibilities while maintaining a safe and caring environment.

For those under SSRC arrangements, we provide short-term accommodation options, including group homes, hotels, or host family arrangements, ensuring participants receive the care they need. Our SSRC services are particularly focused on respite and behaviour support, with each overnight stay recorded on the SSRC Register, ensuring proper oversight and the best possible outcomes.
